"Some Days"
It measures 16" high and 21 1/2" across. Mounted on a nice pine burl. This is my hunters special. I think just about every hunter can relate. A very nice whitetail buck he is too. You know if the hunter stood up, they would see each other and they would both have the wits scared out of them. By that time, the buck is gone before he could pick up his gun. Then as his heart slows down and he catches his breath, you can imagine the words he's thinking or saying. Then it's the story that's told when he gets back to camp. Hmmm? Sounds like a tall tale to me.
The very nice One of a Kind Original piece is only $2400.00! Signed and dated. A great gift for the hunter in your family. An investment worth passing down to the kids. There's only one. Once it's sold I won't offer another one like it.

"Ant-ler"
This might be one of those pieces I'll never sell. Who wants ANTS??? I couldn't help myself. I was compelled to carve ants... on an ant-ler. So I picked out a nice whitetail deer antler and began. I don't know why I spent so much time on these. I was determined though. Each ant is carved on the antler where you can see under them. Only still attached to the antler where their little feet touch. Their antenna I added though, made from wire. The ants were then painted with oils. Some call em Fire Ants and some call them Carpenter Ants, since my last name is Carpenter. I hear Texans are proud of their fire ants.... is that true? Maybe an ant-tropoligist will like em.
Okay....enough of the bad jokes.
I gotta get a least $650.00 for em. At that, I'm losing money for the time involved. You can bet your life I won't carve these critters again.

"Country Nouveau"
A beautiful One of a Kind Lamp. With a little taste of the Art Nouveau style and the warmth of the country style. The base is a burly piece of wood ( type unknown) partially carved and hollowed for the glass globe. I had this piece of wood set up to be a half a dozen things. For some reason, it was never finished into anything, until... I brought this glass home. The Flower globe is recycled, and was bought at a yard sale in Joshua Tree California. Just couldn't stand the thought of it going to the dump. When the 2 pieces met, it was bliss. They had to be together, forever more. Needed a third element to complete it though. Leaves to go with the flower. To accomplish
these, I split Mule deer antler and carved them out. The inside of the leaf has a pearl essence paint.
I tried a clear, green, red, and blue light in it. I love the blue. In the day time it show up with the pink and blue in a pastel color. Although any color looks good in it.You can change the color bulb to suit your mood, or to set a mood.
A One of a Kind Lamp. I cannot duplicate it , so please don't ask after this piece has been sold. Signed & Dated.
If you want people to take notice, put this lamp in your home and turn it on. Now... just wait for the compliments and the oohs and aaaaws.
Only $495.00!
